Breamfield DSR
J N Bentleys appointed MTN Structures to carry out the reinforced concrete works for a new distribution service reservoir at Wirksworth, Derbyshire. The project formed part of an upgrade to the local water supply on behalf of Severn Trent Water.
MTN Structures delivered the tank on programme, with no quality defects and no reportable health and safety incidents. The works were completed to a high standard of workmanship throughout, reflecting the company’s focus on controlled construction, close coordination with the main contractor, and disciplined site management.
The reservoir comprises two principal chambers separated by a 6.6 m high internal wall. Construction quality was achieved through the use of a controlled-permeability formwork liner, which improved surface finish and durability, together with Xypex concrete products specified to enhance waterproofing performance and long-term service life.
The completed structure provides a robust, high-quality asset capable of supporting reliable water storage and distribution for the surrounding network.

Lowdham FSR
Jackson Civil Engineering appointed MTN Structures to undertake the reinforced concrete works for a new flow control structure, designed to reduce flood risk and improve water management in the surrounding area.
The structure was completed on programme, with no quality defects and no health and safety incidents. Delivery was achieved through careful sequencing, close coordination with the main contractor, and consistent attention to workmanship on site.
The completed works comprise a 70 m long reinforced concrete culvert. Sloping walls were formed at both the inlet and outlet, while the main culvert was constructed with sloping sides to control compaction of the backfill.

Barnsley Footbridge
Keltbray appointed MTN Structures to carry out the reinforced concrete works for a new footbridge, replacing the existing structure which was no longer adequate for current use.
The project involved complex structural elements that required meticulous planning and detailed design coordination. Careful sequencing and precise on-site execution were essential to deliver the works safely, to the required quality, and in line with the overall construction programme.

Cauldon AFR
Whitehouse Construction appointed MTN Structures to undertake the reinforced concrete works for a new recycling plant.
The project required the construction of robust concrete structures capable of supporting heavy plant, demanding operational loads and a long service life in an industrial environment. MTN Structures delivered the works on programme, with no quality defects and no health and safety incidents.
Throughout the project, close coordination with the main contractor, careful sequencing and a consistent focus on workmanship ensured that the reinforced concrete elements were completed to a high standard and ready for the subsequent installation of process equipment.

Small Works
MTN Structures has delivered reinforced concrete works across all major sectors of the construction industry, from commercial and industrial developments through to utilities, infrastructure and private projects.
While the company is regularly appointed on large and complex structures, many of the smaller schemes demand an equally high level of technical expertise. Compact foundations, transformer bases, specialist chambers and tightly constrained sites require precise setting out, careful sequencing and a high standard of workmanship if they are to perform reliably over the long term.
